Both the installation process of wood-plastic decking and the color matching have a direct impact on the overall effect. Many people often ignore the influence of the edge banding material; although the edge banding is only a decorative edge strip, it can often play a finishing touch. The following here provides you with several cases for reference:
1. Use WPC sheet for edge banding: This kind of edge banding is relatively monotonous, and requires a high level of flatness of the wood plastic composite decking board paving, otherwise it will be difficult to see the uneven gap between the edge banding and the decking; in addition, WPC board is used in places with more arc, the wood veneer is easier to install.
2. Use WPC decking at right angles for edge banding: This type of edge banding should be the most widely used edge banding material at present, because the paving effect is good. We here recommend to use thick-walled plastic-wood at right angles to seal the edges, and use self-tapping screws to fix the holes during installation. Gun nails are not suitable.
3. Use metal right-angle for edge banding: There is no doubt that the cost of this type of edge banding is the highest, but this type of edge banding is indeed the most durable and the metal texture can highlight the high-end atmosphere of wood plastic composite decking.
4. Use composite decking board for edge banding: It is better to use the same decking board or decking with color contrast to do edge banding, which is becoming more and more popular now.
