The reason is co-extrusion WPC decking has better surface treatment, stronger weather resistance, high surface hardness, not easy to scratch, and lower water absorption. It overcomes the shortcomings of most common WPC decking and it is called the second generation of WPC in the industry. Fading, mildew, and surface cracks are fatal defects of WPC products, and many companies have encountered complaints about returns related to this. Co-extrusion is to seal the wood plastic core at 360° with a thin layer of polymer,which can fundamentally and effectively solve these problems. Many North American companies have easily increased the warranty period of WPC decking from 20 years to 25 years. These are the credits of co-extrusion WPC.
At present, there are mainly PVC, PE and ASA co-extrusion of WPC. Among them, the co-extrusion of PE wood plastic is relatively large (the reason is that PE plastic wood has a large amount, accounting for more than 75%). They are widely used in outdoor landscapes,swimming pools,template & patios and villas.In the north America, co-extrusion decking has been used over 15 years.They still perform better.That is a sound proof that the warranty of co-extrusion decking can reach 25 years.
